About Me

Hi, I'm Aaron. I'm a web developer currently employed at The Nerdery in Bloomington, MN. I am considered a guru by my peers in JavaScript and PHP with an emphasis in Object Oriented Programing. I'm an expert at (and enjoy) learning on the job, so most of my skills are self taught.

I got my degree in Visual Communications from Brown College in 2007 where I started out with a focus on visual arts, but moved into web development.

JavaScript

From jQuery to the Prototype Framework, I have extensive experience with JavaScript.

I have experience in jQuery plugins, custom MVC frameworks, interactive applications, advanced animations, and HTML5 Canvas games.
PHP

PHP is the language I started in. It's the first language I became passionate about, and it's the first language I learned on my own.

I have experience in Wordpress development (Plugins, Themes, etc), Zend Framework, Object Oriented Programing, and creating custom MVC Frameworks.
HTML/CSS

I'm a skilled 'slice-n-dicer' who can turn any PSD file into a cross-browser compatible webpage.

I code is standard compliant CSS, but also only embrace CSS3 into my work.
