Electrofeat Update
So I’ve been tooling away at writing music, albeit not at a fast rate…. more a casual walking rate…. But I’m writing nonetheless.
Anyway, back in July, I made the decision to purchase a Cello and start taking lessons. I’ve always had a great appreciation towards stringed instruments, and especially the Cello. Having 10+ years of piano instruction, I really wanted to learn something that was completely different. The Cello, along with any stringed instrument, are also the instruments you just can’t really synthesize. There are so many instruments out there that sounds great in sample form, but strings (along with a few others) are the exception. So, instead of avoiding them like I did with 23:28, I decided to just buy one and start taking lessons.
I was lucky to have found a really talented instructor that lives only a few miles from me. One thing I love about taking lessons from him is he, knowing the reason I decided to start, caters my lessons accordingly. So we’ve been focusing on writing Cello accompaniments.
So because of this, Electrofeat will undoubtedly take longer to finish, but I’m hoping it’ll be worth it.

I’ve already starting writing Cello parts for the songs I’ve written, and am excited to get to the point where I will be able to play them.
